With AirTec’s Exchange Service, you receive a practical and reliable solution with zero vehicle downtime.
One of the key advantages of this service is that you install and test our pre-repaired shock absorber before we repair your original component.
This allows you to genuinely experience the vehicle’s behavior, and if for any reason you are not satisfied, the process remains fully reversible.
How the service works:

AirTec ships a pre-repaired and tested original OEM component.

The customer performs installation and testing on the vehicle.

The customer returns the original shock absorber / component to AirTec within the agreed timeframe.

A deposit (security deposit) is always required.
- The returned shock absorber / component must NOT have been repaired, modified, or opened by another company.
This is because repair methods and materials used by other repair centers differ significantly from AirTec’s standards and, in many cases, result in irreversible damage, making proper professional repair impossible.
Availability & lead times:

Exchange Service cannot be offered for all items.

Availability depends on stock and the specific model / configuration.

To confirm availability, lead times, and conditions, the customer must contact AirTec in advance.
Payment:

The repair price and deposit are paid upon receipt of the component supplied by AirTec:
– in person or cash on delivery (COD) -
For bank transfers, all amounts must be paid in advance.
Shipping & transport:

All shipping and transport costs are borne by the customer, including:

shipment of the component from AirTec to the customer;
-
return shipment of the original component back to AirTec.

Deposit policy:

The deposit serves as a guarantee for the return of an original OEM component.

If the customer does not return an original, unrepaired third-party component, the deposit will NOT be refunded.

If the returned component is not repairable, AirTec reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit.
Important:

Exchange Service is available exclusively for original OEM components.

Copies, replicas, and aftermarket parts are not accepted.

Every returned component undergoes a professional technical evaluation.
